A resident of Curepipe, the year-old Angelique is an administrative manager. She wants to devote herself to raising awareness about endometriosis, a painful disorder in which tissue similar to the tissue that normally lines the inside of your uterus, the endometrium, grows outside your uterus. The young lady was also elected Miss Telegenic.

During my year no one was there to help me.. Those who wished to help could not do so because they were not part of the committee. I think this should change because at the end we are not representing the committee but a whole republic. So I did my best with the help of some friends and family everyone knew about it.. Today I don't consider myself as selfish and as someone who has reached where she dreamed and now just sit here and let others drown and just shut up Empowerment means this kind of truth speaking as well Her preparations dress, project, talent..

Committee members?? So Where are you?? Don't you see what's going on.. Let's all make our best to make Mauritius proud again for Miss World This girl no matter what she said, she is true to her own self and she need our full support.. This is a once in a lifetime experience that I will take with me forever. Thank you all and To my family and friends, you are the perfect God bless Mauritius.

To the finalists, I would like to tell them that I. Luck can be as unpredictable as everyone could imagine. I was so happy to be first runner-up in the Miss Mauritius competition. Two months later, I had the great joy and surprise of flying to Colombo for Miss Intercontinental I just wanted to represent my country and make it proud. And In return, I had one of the most incredible journey of my life where I was awarded the Cooking award as well as 2nd runner-up for Miss Hospitality.

What a journey this has been! The finalists were evaluated based on several criteria, including intelligence, elegance, gait and ease on stage in order to designate the Miss Universe Mauritius. This 32nd edition of the contest focused on the personal development of the young women.

The winner will also complete a one-month internship in the United States before the grand international finale of Miss Universe as well as follow various trainings.
