Body count: We found out what happens to a vampire when they pass over a threshold uninvited, with Cutler enduring a melt-y end in his mission to kill baby Eve. Most awesome moment: The scene between Hal and Mr. Snow is really a wonder to observe, with both actors firing on all cylinders to set up a story that strangely never developed further. They exchange theories on whether Hal can ever overcome his inmate bloodlust, and the tension developing across the table is simply palpable.
The lengthy sequence inside each of their dream worlds is wonderful, and the various character moments that occur between the three friends equally so. I suppose, given the previously mentioned ambiguous ending, the episode was free from wrapping up its central threat, and could concentrate instead on giving us poignant finales for each of the characters.
When the show started it was about three outsiders hiding from the cold world outside and, at the end of The Last Broadcast , things were exactly the same. He was a fantastic villain to play us out with. Runner-up to this was probably the visual pleasure of seeing the complete trinity walk through the ravaged streets of Barry, one last time.

So he's letting them all stick around … for now. Mitchell is dead, so this is no time to be thinking about silly things like that. Although it was lovely to get one last little mention on The Real Hustle. We think we got a bit of something in our eye there. So Now What? And so the best series yet ends with our remaining heroes standing shoulder-to-shoulder, like the Power Rangers via This Life, facing off against Wyndham.
So that's series four set up. But still, Being Human now finds itself in a precarious position. Plenty of shows lose principal actors, but this was one founded on some very specific characters, in some very specific circumstances.
It can now never go back to its cosy flatshare beginnings, and any hopes of domesticity are out of the window with Wyndham onto them. There can be no looming threat in series four and there will surely be one , from the off it's going to be a battle. Or, indeed, might the threat of the Old Ones prove to be prolonged than that? If Wyndham is the new lead vampire, that changes the dynamic completely. And Turner was a hugely popular lead actor, despite the equal billing of the cast.
Could we see a new flatmate move into Honolulu Heights? Maybe Adam could come back full time? We might just got some clues sooner than we think.
But in the meantime … what a journey. What have been your highlights of Being Human's third year? And what do you want from series four? Being Human: series three, episode eight. A brutal denouement brings the curtain down for this series — so what are your highlights of Being Human's monster third year? Being Human Complain about this comment Comment number 3.
Loved the first episode. I think Adian and Lenora did a great job and it's good to see Russell returning as George. Can't wait for the next episode. Complain about this comment Comment number 4. It just keeps getting better and better, the backgrounds and the internal battles of the 3 main characters are being addressed more and more.
I think the new castings are just as fantastic as the previous if not better. Complain about this comment Comment number 6. Complain about this comment Comment number 7. Oi leave off Aidan people :- Think he is doing a brilliant job and absolutely love the character as Russell says Guy was brilliant as was the actress playing annie but its like theyre completely different characters - i kinda wanna know what happened to them but it does feel as though theyre completely different characters - think the new cast are more "human" which works well - ive told plenty of people about the show and the usual response is "a vampire a werewolf and a ghost?
Nobody has a bad word against Russell and rightly so :- brilliant actor and seen him in a few interviews he seems like quite a nice guy. As for Annie i reaaaally cant make my mind up - i love both just wish there was a way to have both of them in the show lol think they are very very different but equally good.
Mitchell is the best character though in my opinion - interesting, deep, raises a million questions, funny, likeable and not to mention pretty easy on the eyes ;-. Complain about this comment Comment number Well said - as for Guy - he was briliant and fantstic as a vampire and as i said i really wish there was a way of having them both lol but as sad as it is seeing him go Aidan does do a fantastic job and think he has more Hurry up I love the cast as it is and I can't imagine any other actors in the roles.
Aidan Turner is incredible as the modern, confused vampire and it's his portrayal of the dark, sexy character and his interaction with the rest of the cast that keeps me tuned in each week. Well done guys, something great to look forward to on an otherwise dreary sunday night.
Keep up the good work! In my opinion this is one of the best things on telly at the moment! I'm so glad its been made in to a series. It seems to have come just at the right time.
Its intelligent ,thought provoking and the cast do a fantastic job Its so believable. The interaction and feelings they have for one another is portrayed so well. I'm always left at the end of each episode wanting more and feeling saddened at their plight to try and be normal , but then what is normal?
This show is amazing espacily Adian Hes more than 10 times better than the pilot vampire hes very cool and down to earth and seems to be very wise at the same time. Gosh if I saw him id fall into his charms straight away! In fact Id be a vampire right now! I think that the new mitchell is great! Love the show can't wait for the next episode!!
I think Aidan is brilliant as Mitchell - he's so cool especially in ep 4 when he went back to the vampires! And i love the way you can really see it in his eyes when he's battling his addiction! I love Mitchell!
And what I find so fascinating about his character is that we all totally adore him In reality if an attractive charming male said 'Hi I'm a reformed serial killer, but it's OK because I've pretty much got the bloodlust under control, although the urge is always there and I do have momentary relapses every now and then.
It's because most my friends are still into killing so it's hard not to go back to it. George helps me through, he understands me because once a month he turns into a mental homicidal maniac. Mind you if he looked as hot as Aidan Turner I suppose I might overlook his sociopathic tendancies. Oh, just to say both actors are brilliant Guy played the role as a more typical 24 hour vampire enigmatic, a bit pretentious, untouchabley cool, a constant air of danger, a much darker character - Aidan is more friendly and down to earth.
He only displays vampyric qualities when he is being a vampire. It would be nice if both actors could be in it some how. I am totally addicted to this series. I love George and Annie but as for the Mitchell, goodness me please please please please please Bite Me!
